Job Title: Technical Consultant I

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant I to join our team at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. As a Technical Consultant I, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients in the field, applying strategies defined by our leadership to increase customer satisfaction and contribute to market share growth and equipment availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, instruct, clean, and disinfect endoscopy and surgery equipment according to manufacturer requirements and internal procedures.
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance to clients to increase satisfaction levels.
  • Detect equipment problems through inspections and identify root causes, providing instructions to clients on cleaning and disinfection procedures.
  • Offer technical support to clients, anticipating their needs, following up on repairs, and acting as the primary point of contact for post-sales issues.
  • Maintain relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., nurses, doctors, purchasing managers) and provide support for endoscope services, contributing to business growth.
  • Prepare, schedule, and control periodic performance reports on contracts regarding services provided over time.
  • Support sales, marketing, and education teams in events such as conferences, grants, hands-on training, etc.
  • Support management by sending information or performing other periodic activities, ensuring area performance improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Complete technical course in Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechanical.
  • Experience: Client service in the medical field, technical knowledge in repairing medical equipment.
  • Language: Intermediate English desired.
  • Excel and PowerPoint in intermediate level.
