Imagine a role where you can utilize your language skills to bridge the gap between legal professionals and clients. As a Bilingual Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to attorneys, conducting research, drafting documents, and maintaining client files.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is fluent in both English and Portuguese, with a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures. You will work closely with lawyers to prepare cases, manage calendars, and handle various administrative tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough research to gather information and prepare documents
  • Maintaining accurate and organized case files and records
  • Communicating effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates
  • Handling clerical duties, such as answering phone calls and managing schedules
  • Assisting attorneys in preparing for court by organizing documents and coordinating logistics
  • Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and assisting with document filing

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • At least one year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese
  • A high level of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality
