About the Role
A Data Scientist is a crucial part of our team, responsible for translating complex business problems into actionable insights using machine learning techniques. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business problems into machine learning problems
  • Propose modeling solutions to solve the problem
  • Preprocess data and execute exploratory data analysis
  • Develop Machine Learning and other quantitative models

Evaluation Methodologies
We are looking for someone who can define evaluation methodologies, execute experiments, provide proposals and guidance, conduct literature research, analysis and approach indications, and possibly write and review scientific publications.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Techincal leadership experience
  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science)
  • Solid data science knowledge (Advanced level)
  • Proficiency in Python programming with libraries like Pandas and numpy (Advanced level)
  • Experience with visualization tools (eg. Python's matplotlib or R's shiny) (Advanced level)
  • Version-control software experience (eg. GIT) (Advanced level)
  • Previous professional, academic or personal experience in a Data Science project
  • Advanced level of English (speaking, reading and writing)

What Will Help You Succeed
Having a Master/PHD degree in a quantitative field, experience with Unix-like systems, familiarity with Cloud services, teamwork, critical thinking, passion for excellence, and continuous learning will be beneficial for this position.
