Role Summary

The Senior Installation Engineer is responsible for delivering technically intricate engineering solutions in demanding project environments, adhering to TechnipFMC's standards, procedures, and processes, while maintaining a focus on quality, deadlines, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and validates engineering solutions for projects and operations, as well as for manufacturing, fabrication, and installation sites, ensuring compliance with departmental and project guidelines, schedules, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Conducts thorough engineering analyses to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Implements optimized engineering solutions.
  • Provides technical support across projects and operational sites.
  • Approves design foundations.
  • Coordinates engineering tasks for tenders and project implementations.
  • May oversee subcontractors.
  • Ensures engineering solutions meet client specifications, industry standards, and group HSE protocols, as well as best practices for the discipline.
  • Offers mentorship and training to junior engineers.
  • Collaborates with other engineering disciplines and teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering.
  • Proficient project management capabilities.
  • Effective presentation and coaching skills.
  • Advanced organizational and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to comprehend customer needs and translate them into product specifications.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
