Senior Data and Analytics Solution Architect

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data and Analytics Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data and analytics solutions that drive business growth and improvement.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of data and analytics initiatives within Snowflake, collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.
- Build data visualizations to support analytic insights, creating intuitive and insightful dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI.
- Ensure product backlog aligns with platform design vision, clearly articulating backlog items to stakeholders, product managers, and the scrum team.
- Develop and uphold release plans for data and analytics enhancements in Snowflake, factoring in financial costs and total cost of ownership (TCO) into the planning stages.
- Engage in continuous collaboration with the scrum team and subject matter experts to refine product backlog items.
- Maintain the integrity of data and analytics deliverables in Snowflake.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources for the meticulous planning and execution of data and analytics product backlog items in Snowflake.
- Advocate for team development and nurture a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the data and analytics team.
- 10+ years of experience as part of large, remote, global IT teams.
- 7+ years focused on development lifecycle product architecture design.
- Expertise in data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI.
- Snowflake ecosystem proficiency, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in tailoring, configuring, and crafting solutions within the Snowflake environment.
- Scalability and high availability, with proven expertise in architecting and implementing Snowflake solutions that are highly scalable and resilient.
- Snowflake cloud services implementation, with a strong track record in leveraging Snowflake's cloud-based architecture.
- API and systems integration, with extensive experience in designing and implementing API and system integrations.
- AI, machine learning, and data management, with expertise in leveraging AI and ML for predictive analytics.
- Data schema design, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing good data schemas.
- Agile development with Snowflake, with profound familiarity with Agile methodologies in the context of data and analytics development projects.
- Strategic problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to tackle complex data-related challenges.
