Tax Planning Specialist

Contribute to the company's success as a Tax Planning Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with current tax legislation while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.

  • Provide technical support in the tax area, focusing on compliance, tax planning, and strategic support to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to current legislation while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.
  • Conduct strategic tax planning analyses across all legal entities within the group, anticipating tax impacts, identifying efficiency opportunities, and ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation.

Impact

This position is responsible for:

  • Responding to tax-related inquiries from business areas, providing clear and accurate guidance aligned with current legislation.
  • Defining and communicating tax rules applicable to new operations, ensuring proper implementation and compliance.
  • Periodically reviewing and updating existing tax rules used across the organization to reflect legislative changes and business needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with:

  • A solid understanding of tax legislation, including tax accounting, bookkeeping, calculation of taxes and contributions, and development of tax returns.
  • Experience in the tax area, with a background in compliance, planning, and strategic projects.
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state taxes, ancillary obligations, tax law, direct taxes, and corporate tax.
