Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction by reducing internal non-conformances and eliminating customer returns through continuous improvement techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply advanced quality methods to minimize non-conformances and prevent returns, ensuring a high level of product excellence.
  • Develop corrective and preventative programs to reduce scrap and rework, resulting in significant cost savings.
  • Mentor and train quality engineering personnel to meet development requirements, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Facilitate customer return processing and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluate equipment, provide training, and develop quality procedures to guarantee a smooth production process.
Requirements
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Analyze and solve complex problems, applying critical thinking skills to drive innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance standards, including ASQ certification.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience, with a focus on quality control and process improvement.
  • Quality certifications such as ASQ Quality Engineer, demonstrating expertise in quality management.
