Renewable Energy Integration Specialist

As a Renewable Energy Integration Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of renewable energy equipment into various power grids worldwide.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Participating in regular project meetings to summarize and follow up on technical issues with site-specific models;
  • Communicating with customers via email/requests;
  • Visiting customers to discuss model technical issues;
  • Collaborating with internal teams to propose solutions to control system and modeling problems;
  • Testing simulation models and related manuals for new energy grid-connected related equipment;
  • Validating new products against regional grid code requirements;
  • Staying up-to-date on new grid codes and product requirements emerging in relevant regions;

Responsibilities Continued:

  • Collecting and analyzing technical data on competing products;

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering or a related field;
  • Strong English technical communication skills and document writing skills;
  • Proficiency in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD for power system simulation and modeling;
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as Python;
  • Experience in control system design of wind, solar, or storage converters and grid-connected modeling and delivery;

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
