Job Summary:As a Construction Employee at Adams Outdoor, you will be responsible for installing posters and bulletins, as well as performing maintenance tasks on the physical structure and surrounding property. Additionally, you will work on digital assets as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Climbing and Elevated Work: The ability to climb without restrictions using fixed, portable, and/or extension ladders to heights up to 125 feet multiple times daily.
- Elevated Platform Work: The ability to work from elevated platforms up to 125 feet in height for up to 70% of the work day.
- Lifting and Moving: Must be able to lift weight up to 100 lbs. without restrictions or limitations through demonstrated safe lifting practices.
- Equipment Operation: Working knowledge of or ability to learn the proper use of an oxygen/acetylene torch, AC/DC welder, and gas-powered equipment such as lawn mowers, chain saws, generators, compressors, paint sprayers, etc.
- Transportation: Is required to possess a valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicles.
- Safety Protocols: Utilize all safety-related equipment without exception as mandated by Adams Outdoor Advertising operating procedures.
- Mathematical Skills: Understanding and possession of basic mathematics skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
- Physical Demands: Must have a full range of motion in order to install and maintain posters and bulletin signage. Meet maximum weight restrictions of 265 pounds due to manufacturer requirements on safety-related equipment used to work in elevated work environments.
- Weather Conditions: The ability to work in all weather conditions when necessary.
- Environmental Factors: The ability to tolerate the risk of exposure associated with an outdoor environment.
- Company Policies: Comply and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines without exception.
- Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Education: High School or equivalent degree.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with external clients and internal personnel at all levels.
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable to changing work environments.
- Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel as required.
- Task Prioritization: Must prioritize and execute tasks and assignments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
