About the Role

The Senior Tax Analyst will join a strong corporate tax group, contributing to day-to-day tax operations and compliance, as well as projects supporting business needs.

  • Own all Indirect Taxes and Withholding Taxes compliance for Brazilian entities with supplementary support for Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing matters.
  • Ensure local tax requirements are met, including review or preparation of tax returns where necessary.
  • Document, implement, optimize, and improve processes/procedures for tax digitalization and automation.
  • Work with stakeholders to prepare calculation records and ensure accuracy of returns.
  • Update and control dashboards monthly.
  • Assist in attending authorities and government agencies on assessments, audits, and relevant issues.
  • Help research and implement various tax strategies, internal controls, and processes.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Advanced English proficiency for meetings with foreign teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, tax, or related business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with tax matters.
  • Strong financial analytical abilities and accounting skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to use other technology resources.
  • Excellent business partnering, communication, and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Self-motivation with a strong work ethic.
