Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python developer to join our team at Netvagas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate multiple services using REST and GraphQL patterns;
  • Optimize performance for synchronous and event-driven architectures, ensuring scalability and handling increasing loads without compromising performance;
  • Maintain the codebase to ensure APIs are easy to update and extend;
  • Communicate effectively across teams to align goals and resolve blockers quickly;
  • Continuously learn to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Python development;
  • Familiarity with the Python development stack (PyPI, virtualenv, pip, application and web servers, etc.);
  • Knowledge of cloud utilities and services (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.);
  • A systems-thinking approach to problem-solving and strong self-management skills;
  • Experience with major Python frameworks (Django, Flask);
  • Experience with version control systems, especially Git;
  • Understanding of networking protocols, especially HTTP;
  • Knowledge of API models such as REST and GraphQL;
  • Experience with Unix environments, package management, troubleshooting, and file systems;
  • Knowledge of containers and related concepts (Docker, Compose, Kubernetes);
  • Understanding of software development best practices and architectural patterns;
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.);
  • Knowledge of message queue systems (RabbitMQ, etc.).
