About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Encora Inc. as a Machine Learning Engineer. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and data applications that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop machine learning models and data applications that interact with Generative AI
  • Deploy modern data solutions that provide data access and insights to customers
  • Conduct in-depth statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data
  • Provide data-driven insights critical to customer business processes
  • Produce artifacts that are utilized by various business areas within the company
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Economy, Physics, or related areas
  • Desire to combine theory and abilities to solve problems pragmatically, using Machine Learning for solving real-life problems
  • Desire to work with product managers and software engineers, translating requirements into design and models into production code
  • Knowledge in probability and statistical modeling
  • Hands-on experience in statistical analysis, visualization, and in Machine Learning modeling using Python
  • Knowledge in SQL and relational databases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jupyter notebooks, pandas, sklearn, and statsmodels
  • Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS)
  • Experience with developing Generative AI applications
  • Experience with GitLab or similar version control systems
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies (CI/CD pipelines) for application deployment
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code for automating infrastructure (Cloudformation)
