Job Summary

Omega People is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a dynamic and innovative environment. As a key member of our Point of Sale manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for Point of Sale equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Optimize existing products and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Support the manufacturing process by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting production issues
  • Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the company
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for design and testing activities

Requirements

  • BTech Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
