We are seeking a highly skilled **Junior Buyer** to join our Purchasing team, specializing in the procurement of synthetic aroma chemicals from India and China.
**Key Responsibilities**- Request and evaluate offers from suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Communicate and maintain up-to-date records of received offers.
- Manage samples received for the Laboratory and Sales Department, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Conduct sales reporting with suppliers, analyzing market trends and pricing strategies.
- Assist in price negotiations with suppliers, leveraging market knowledge and industry expertise.
- Investigate and resolve quality and service-related issues with suppliers.
- Monitor and follow up on purchase schedules, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Communicate price changes to the Sales team and implement new sales strategies in response to market fluctuations.
- Participate in trade fairs, supplier visits, and other business development activities.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in a Purchasing department, preferably in B2B environments and industries such as chemicals or Flavors & Fragrances.
- A degree in Business Administration or a related field is highly valued.
- Knowledge of import/export processes is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages being a desirable asset.
