We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.
About the RoleThis position will play a key role in the strategic sourcing of services and goods for various categories in the Americas, with some global projects. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business advisor to stakeholders, providing technical consulting on sourcing and external benchmarking.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a trusted business advisor to stakeholders, providing expert technical consulting on sourcing and external benchmarking.
- Manage sourcing projects, reverse auctions, and initiatives to align with company priorities and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a preferred supply base for respective areas of responsibility.
- Lead sourcing events, reverse auctions, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure maximum value and minimum risk.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships across multiple geographies within the Americas.
- Entry-level role with strong interest in procurement sourcing and category management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with basic procurement law and ability to author, negotiate, and oversee contracts.
- Experience in one of the following categories: Facilities, Marketing, Human Resources, IT, or Finance.
