About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our small development team at Pósitron Stoneridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating solutions for fleets to improve their daily operations and for truck drivers to have a better day on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard on our development team and contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments.
  • Create solutions for fleets and truck drivers using Java 8, object-oriented programming, unit tests, and design patterns.
  • Work with microservices, REST-API's, SQL databases, and No-SQL databases to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement DevOps practices and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, including cloud-native solutions, IoT, and electronic devices connected to the cloud.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related areas.
  • Solid experience as a Java software developer in an agile framework.
  • Advanced or fluent English.
  • Strong technical skills in Java 8, object-oriented programming, unit tests, design patterns, microservices, REST-API's, SQL databases, and No-SQL databases.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud-native solutions, IoT, and electronic devices connected to the cloud.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, observability notions, and AWS cloud services.
  • DevOps skills, including infrastructure notions and mobile development (Android and iOS).
