GIS Technology Architect

We're seeking a skilled GIS Technology Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex GIS solutions using Esri and Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in architecting and deploying enterprise GIS infrastructure and applications, with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and implementing GIS solutions using Esri and Microsoft technologies
  • Leading end-to-end solution design: infrastructure, application, data integration, and DevOps
  • Ensuring the scalability, performance, security, and reliability of GIS systems

This is a hands-on position that combines deep technical work with strategic architectural leadership. We're looking for someone who can lead by example and collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Esri server technologies (8+ years)
    • Portal for ArcGIS and related Enterprise components (5+ years)
    • Esri JavaScript API (5+ years)
    • ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI (C#) (5+ years)
    • JavaScript and jQuery (5+ years)
    • Angular and/or PrimeNG (3+ years)
    • Geospatial databases (ArcSDE, Oracle, SQL Server) (3+ years)
    • Python (2+ years)
  • Education and Experience:
    • BS or MS in Computer Science, GIS, Geography, MIS, or related field
    • 8–12 years of overall experience in GIS, with at least 4 years in architecture roles
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Experience in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies

Nice to Have:

  • Industry knowledge in Oil & Gas or public sector GIS applications
