Warehouse Operative Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe, and secure condition at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe, and secure condition at all times
  2. Performing incoming goods control (products, quantities, and labels)
  3. Attaching logistics unit labels to all products received without a readable barcode
  4. Receiving incoming goods into inventory
  5. Participating in stock counts and reporting reasons for stock discrepancies
  6. Ensuring correct labeling of products
  7. Transporting packed goods to the correct shipment location in the warehouse/dispatch area
  8. Ensuring that products are packed and segregated correctly according to transport and storage regulations
  9. Ensuring that all necessary transport labels are attached to the packed order
  10. Responsible for returns of assets and updating the system if not scanned by the driver
  11. Responsible for keeping operations in line with QHSE practices as laid down by the company
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of logistics and transport management
  • Basic safety knowledge and forklift operator courses
  • Understanding of QHSE requirements, especially for warehousing
  • Intermediate English (reading, speaking, and writing)
