Key Job Role: Radio Network Planner

Job Purpose:

To ensure the regional radio network is developed and maintained such that it has adequate capacity, always operates at optimum quality and offers competitive coverage and associated products to market requirements.

The role requires strong technical expertise in radio network planning, including signal propagation analysis, frequency allocation, and network optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining complex radio networks, ensuring high-quality services and meeting customer expectations.

Key Performance Areas:
  1. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed network plans, including topological diagrams and performance metrics.
  2. Analyze and resolve network issues, using data-driven insights and problem-solving skills.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of network upgrades and changes.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in radio network planning, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
