Job Overview
  • We're seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead our AI initiatives.
  • This role involves collaborating with a small, highly skilled team that thrives on learning, coding, and driving technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Explore novel machine learning opportunities, develop proof-of-concepts, and integrate them into our platform.
  • Design, implement, and deploy machine learning models enhancing cost, price, and sourcing options for customers and suppliers.
  • Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies, identify areas for improvement, and develop new features ensuring the reliability and scalability of our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define technical solutions based on the latest innovations.
  • Monitor machine learning models and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge base to help other teams understand and use our AI effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience with cutting-edge ML modeling techniques and approaches like transformers, self-supervised pre-training, generative modeling, LLMs, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale data processing using deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Able to bridge state-of-the-art approaches to real-world impact.
  • Cloud-native software expertise with hands-on experience with containers, container orchestration, and distributed systems.
  • Self-driven engineer who can own problems and deliver solutions.
  • Strong software fundamentals with experience in design patterns, refactoring, OOP, and testing.
  • Data's at the heart of our systems - you should feel the same way.
  • Experience building and consuming CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with the command line and *nix systems.
  • At least 5 years working experience in engineering teams building large-scale ML-driven user-facing products.
  • At least 3 years experience leading cross-team engineering efforts.
