We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Specialist to join our team. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be working at the forefront of Machine Learning and AI, applying cutting-edge Generative AI algorithms to solve real-world problems with significant impact.

Our team is responsible for developing and deploying large-scale machine learning or deep learning models and/or systems into production, including batch and real-time data processing. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business challenges and develop tailored solutions using AWS services such as SageMaker, EMR, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop robust and scalable AI solutions for business problems.
  2. Effectively use Foundation Models available on Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker to meet our customer's performance needs.
  3. Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of historical data to help automate and optimize key processes.
  4. Strong communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts.
  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
  • Experiences related to machine learning, deep learning, NLP, CV, GNN, or distributed training.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in developing and deploying large-scale machine learning or deep learning models and/or systems into production, including batch and real-time data processing.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese within technical and business settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or in a highly quantitative field.
  • Experiences related to AWS services such as SageMaker, EMR, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI and hands-on experience in prompt engineering, deploying and hosting Large Foundational Models.
