About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Strategy and Commercial Planning Analyst to join our team at IHS Towers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales and service organizations in achieving and exceeding their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales and Service Organizations: Work closely with our sales and service teams to help drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Product Technologies: Develop a deep understanding of our current and upcoming product technologies to provide informed recommendations and support.
  • Support Annual Planning: Utilize data-driven insights to inform annual planning, including customer segmentation, headcount, financial, and territory planning.
  • Track Business Drivers and Trends: Monitor and analyze key business drivers, trends, and operating metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Forecasting and Governance: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and maintain accurate forecasts, with a focus on short- and long-term financial projections.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive analysis of results, identifying areas of risk and opportunity, and prepare regular reports to inform business decisions.
  • Executive Presentations: Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, highlighting key business indicators and trends.
  • Financial Analysis and Modelling: Perform complex financial analysis using methodologies such as multiples and discounted cash flow (DCF) to evaluate project viability and investment opportunities.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Conduct due diligence and financial modelling for potential mergers and acquisitions, providing thorough assessments and strategic recommendations.
  • Operational Improvement: Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support investment decisions and identify areas for operational improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Corporate Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and financial evaluation methods.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance and/or commercial planning.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
