About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Development Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying innovative technologies that will shape the future of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with experienced engineers and product managers to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
  2. Design and Build Scalable Technologies: Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment, helping to lead fundamental changes in the industry.
  3. Develop Predictive Analytics Solutions: Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
  4. Design and Code Efficient Systems: Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
  5. Work in an Agile Environment: Deliver high-quality software in an agile environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Requirements
  1. Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field at time of application (or graduated less than one year prior to application).
  2. Technical Skills: Familiarity with the syntax of languages such as Java, C/C++ or Python, and knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  3. Communication Skills: Advanced knowledge of English and the ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Technical Internship Experience: Previous technical internship(s) in a related field.
  2. Distributed Systems Experience: Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  3. Optimization Experience: Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
