Machinists at our organization are responsible for operating a range of machinery including conventional lathes, milling machines, bench and radial drills, cylindrical grinders, and electrical discharge machining. In addition to operating these machines, they also move parts manually and with pallet trucks and overhead cranes.
Key Responsibilities:- Machine metal and plastic components according to specifications as outlined in production drawings and orders.
- Weld plastic components using rotation and hot air techniques.
- Perform quality inspections on manufactured parts.
- Identify and label produced parts using industrial markers, electric pencils, or sealing methods.
- Read, interpret, and apply approved procedures, drawings, and calibrated instruments during all activities.
Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification in machining technology or a related field. Proficiency in operating conventional lathes, milling machines, bench and radial drills, cylindrical grinders, and electrical discharge machining is required. Moving parts manually and with pallet trucks and overhead cranes is also necessary.
