Import Logistics Coordinator Job Summary

Our Import Logistics Coordinator is a vital team member who ensures efficient and cost-effective importation processes. As part of our global logistics operations, this role plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing timely and accurate shipment of goods.

  • Oversight of the entire import process from order placement to delivery ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
  • Collaboration with suppliers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and resolve logistical issues.
  • Preparation and review of import documentation to ensure compliance with international trade laws.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge on import regulations and tariffs to minimize risks and avoid delays.
  • Monitoring and reporting on logistics costs identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Development and utilization of KPIs to track the efficiency and effectiveness of import operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance Economics Administration Foreign Trade Engineer or related field.
  • Previous experience in transport logistics and customs operations.
  • Proficiency in S4Hana SAP/TM and Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
