Murex Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Murex consultant to implement and configure the system in areas such as datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with various Murex system implementations and configurations. They will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with stakeholders to gather and verify requirements, analysing and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience, and following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure Murex systems in datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and verify requirements.
• Analyse and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
• Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
• Support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
• Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
• Perform technical reviews of production changes.
• Write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolutions within Confluence.
• Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
• Deal directly with business users across the bank to analyse and diagnose business-critical issues.
• Analyse and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
• Provide detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinate with them in testing fixes or solutions.
• Act as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.
• Debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
• Strong technical capability.
• Solid understanding of datamart.
