Electrical Supervisor Job Description

SBM Offshore is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on our offshore facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and adjust the condition of electrical assets, including systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and assess the performance and condition of electrical assets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Diagnose faults in electrical assets, using diagnostic procedures and equipment to determine the cause and extent of problems.
  • Monitor and maintain pollution control measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage and supervise electrical technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with 3 years offshore petrochemical experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience: 3 years of proven supervisory experience, with prior Senior Authorized position.
  • Skills: Excellent practical knowledge of PTW, Electrical Isolation Standards, Risk Assessment, and Man Management, Power Management System, Generation on LV.
