Job Title: Senior Appian Developer

Luxoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Appian Developer to join our expanding Appian Digital Automation Practice in India. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with esteemed global clients on change and digital transformation initiatives, contributing to our clients' Appian Centers of Excellence.

You will work alongside accomplished project teams comprised of engineers with profound technical knowledge and domain expertise, providing ample opportunities for learning, advancement, and career development. Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and challenges, gathering requirements.
  2. Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, implement, maintain, and enhance Appian-based custom Business Process Management (BPM) workflows across the enterprise.
  3. Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry-standard technologies, including LDAP, Active Directory, and other internal systems in the enterprise.
  4. Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems.
  5. Participate in workflow analysis and modeling utilizing SQL Server and SQL Management Studio.
  6. Translate BPM requirement specifications into Appian process model prototypes and solutions, ensuring the highest quality and performance.
  7. Deliver projects in either Agile or Waterfall software development methodologies, as project dictates.
  8. Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
  9. Participate in the day-to-day activities of the Appian BPM development teams.
  10. The work is primarily in the development area; however, you may also be required to perform Appian Installation, environment management, new environment creation, Appian upgrades, deployments, manage database performance, and related activities.
  11. Collaborate with application support teams throughout the development, deployment, and support phases.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent working experience.
  3. 5+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, and production support of Appian BPM workflow applications.
  4. Strong understanding of RDBMS and experience in design and development of relational DB objects to support Appian applications.
  5. Experience in tuning the system for performance improvements and performance-related high volume of database.
  6. Hands-on development experience in building any/all Appian components, including CDTs, SAIL programming, process modeler, and WebAPIs.
  7. Experience of XML and web services (SOAP/REST).
  8. Appian Certified Senior Developer.
  9. Knowledge on in-memory KDBs & engine sizing.
  10. Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills and creativity.
  11. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Positive individual with strong communication skills.
  13. Able to interface well with users and other development teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  1. Experience with Appian product administration activities like new environment creation, environment management, Appian upgrades, and related activities.
  2. Experience defining and enforcing enterprise database standards and processes.
  3. Ability to work using CICD Technologies such as XLR, SonarQube, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub.
  4. Prior working experience on App Servers such as JBoss, Tomcat, etc. & Web Servers like Apache, etc.
