Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our dynamic team, focusing on the LATAM region. This role is pivotal in steering regulatory initiatives for our Home & Personal Care (HPC) and Health & Beauty (H&B) sectors. As part of the Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) team, you will collaborate with over 300 dedicated professionals across more than 20 countries, contributing to a truly international work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory guidance and support for the ongoing management of our HPC and H&B product lines within the region.
- Engage in the registration processes for relevant products and substances, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with regional customers and participate in industry associations as necessary.
- Assist in the development of new products and support regulatory submissions as required.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage regulatory challenges effectively.
- Interface with local authorities and trade organizations to address regulatory matters.
- Support internal stakeholders, including commercial teams and quality assurance, with regulatory insights.
- Contribute to the preparation and submission of regional regulatory dossiers.
- Facilitate regulatory requests from customers, ensuring alignment with company policies.
External Engagement:
- Travel may be required occasionally to foster relationships with customers and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape for HPC products.
- Experience with Botanicals and Probiotics is a plus.
- Proven track record in regulatory agency interactions and product registrations.
- Advanced degree in Regulatory Science, Biology, Toxicology, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
