Job Overview

At SAP, we are seeking a highly skilled ILM Consultant to join our team. This role will be responsible for delivering Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and configure SAP ILM applications to meet business process and application requirements.
  • Develop and implement data archiving solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work with business process owners and IT departments to analyze, blueprint, and implement data archiving objects, archiving storage, and retrieval.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the implementation of data archiving and information lifecycle management solutions.
  • Maintain and improve existing data archiving and ILM solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Solid SAP Basis with data archiving experience.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's in Computer Science.
  • Working knowledge in SAP data archiving (SARA), ILM, DART, SAP Content Server, OpenText, and SAP IQ.
  • Knowledge in ILM data archiving, including ILM destruction, DART, SAP Content Server, ABAP, and third-party OpenText/IXOS, FileNet, and Cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in migrating to SAP Data Archiving and across different versions of SAP.
  • Functional expertise in one or more application components, such as Data Tiering/Native Storage Extension.
  • Experience with S/4 HANA or ECC in at least one functional module.
  • Technical expertise in Basis, NetWeaver, Dual-Stack, etc.
  • Experience with SAP HANA database is a plus.
