Sustainable Landscape Mitigation Consultancy

The Rainforest Alliance seeks a consultancy to develop LandScale's offering for landscape initiatives and corporate supporters in relation to climate mitigation.

Main Objectives and Activities:
  • Develop guidance on attracting corporate funding based on climate mitigation-related interventions.
  • Assess the feasibility, cost, and commercial potential of such interventions.
  • Identify key information on credible carbon certification standards and climate impact verifiers.
  • Evaluate robust MRV processes and signposting to external verifiers of carbon sequestration outcomes.
Deliverables:
  • A guidance document outlining how landscape-level contextualisation and engagement can support identification of better carbon projects.
  • A report containing recommendations for the role and scope of services provided by LandScale with reference to current corporate approaches to sustainable value chain mitigation.

Key Deliverables: Guidance Document, Report

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sustainable land use, carbon offsetting, and environmental management

Working Conditions: Full-time, remote work arrangement. Travel required occasionally
