Medical Care Specialist

The primary goal of the Paramedic is to deliver patient care based on knowledge and experience. Key responsibilities include collecting patient health data, identifying expected outcomes, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient progress.
This individual effectively interacts with the family and other interdisciplinary team members to maximize efforts and resources needed to ensure quality patient care based on established clinical practice standards.
Effective communication serves as a foundation for this role, allowing the EMT-Paramedic to address the patient's/family biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs while serving as a clinical resource to physicians, other personnel, and management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
