Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering new features as part of an agile team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and write services in one or more of Golang, Kotlin, Java,.Net and deploy using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and AMI-based pipelines.
  • Mentor and lead scrum team members by setting positive examples.
  • Own cloud services end to end, implementing distributed systems using AWS services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and feature-flag-driven development.
  • Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives with engineering program management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
  • Excellent professional software development experience.
  • Proficient in writing clean and scalable code using one or more of Golang, Java, Kotlin,.Net or similar programming languages.
  • DevOps mentality with an understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability.
  • Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and knowledge on AWS primitives such as EC2, AMIs, EKS, Dynamo, etc.
  • A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a lack of fear for learning something new. You should be open to learn from others and willing to help mentor and teach.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with technical product managers, architects, and technical leads.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions.
  • Experience in Travel Technologies a plus.
  • Excellent communication in English.
