At Eaton, we are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Expertise professional to join our Corporate Sector division.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze server requirements and provide solution design to ensure optimal database performance.

- Collaborate with developers, vendors, and testers to create and support database solutions that meet business needs.

- Implement configuration management, security policies, and maintain software standards to ensure data integrity and security.

- Recommend, develop, and implement enhancements to improve the performance and reliability of the database environment.

Requirements:

Education: B.S. Degree from an accredited university.

Experience: Extensive experience in a similar position.

Skills:

Job Skills/Technical Knowledge:

- Experienced in Oracle database architecture, administration, patching, backups, installation, configuration, and security.

- Ability to read, modify, and create SQL, PL/SQL, database triggers, stored procedures, replication jobs.

- Skilled with SQL tuning and database tuning.

- Working knowledge of Linux environment and tools.

- Ability to read, modify, and create Linux bash scripts.

- Desirable experience managing databases in VMware and Exadata environments.

- Ability to use RMAN for backup and restore.

- Solid understanding of concepts such as latency, performance, availability, efficiency, change management, and monitoring.

- Basic understanding of automation concepts, automatic provisioning of software and infrastructure, logging, and visualization of statistics.

- Strong technical skills with Oracle EBS R12.2 administration, including patching, upgrades, cloning, and system administration.

- Experience working with Agile methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving and software debugging skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively on a technical team.
