We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Video Editor for Science. This is a full-time position responsible for editing educational content, creating engaging videos that showcase scientific concepts and theories.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of the English language, be proficient in video editing software, motion graphics, and animations, and be able to adapt their style to match the tone of our content. They should also have a good understanding of scientific terminology and be comfortable with research.

The process involves receiving scripts and audio, finding supporting images and videos, and creating short motion graphics when necessary. Sources include academic publications, documentaries, and online resources. The editor will work independently, sourcing materials and delivering high-quality videos on a weekly basis.

  • 5+ years of experience as a video editor
  • Proficient in English and scientific terminology
  • Strong research skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and take feedback constructively
