Job Summary:
Chemistry Laboratory TechnicianThis is an entry-level position that requires the incumbent to perform laboratory tests according to procedures, select test equipment/instrumentation, and document test data for reporting purposes.
The successful candidate will work under direct supervision, ensuring adherence to chemical hygiene plans and laboratory safety standards. They will also maintain files and documentation related to test equipment and results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests according to established procedures.
- Select and use appropriate test equipment/instrumentation.
- Document test data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and documentation related to test equipment and results.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- No prior experience is necessary, but an understanding of basic laboratory principles and practices is desired.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
