Medical Director Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a Medical Director to join our team in this pivotal role. The ideal candidate will serve as an advocate for the industry, supporting precommercial and commercial therapies of pharmaceutical companies.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for the industry by maintaining scientific expertise and knowledge of precommercial and commercial therapies, medical devices, clinical applications, medical treatment guidelines, and research methods.
  • Maintain abreast of relevant medical literature independently and stay informed about the latest developments in the field.
  • Participate in relevant congresses and internal/external meetings to foster collaboration and share clinical insights and updates.
  • Leverage scientific discussions to define clinical treatment pathways and deliver scientific presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and evaluate new sites and investigators, engage with principal investigators and site teams through visits and communication, and collaborate with sponsors to drive study execution.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD) with specialization in Hematology, Anesthesiology, or Surgery/Trauma Surgery.
  • Extensive Medical Affairs experience (global and/or regional) with a deep understanding of medical affairs fundamentals: care engagement, scientific communication, medical education, and evidence generation.
  • Senior-level expertise in clinical research and leadership roles with strong knowledge in benign hematology, bleeding disorders, and anticoagulation reversal.
  • Experience in scientific engagement and medical affairs strategy, skilled in clinical education and KOL mapping, and deep understanding of clinical trial design, conduct, and result interpretation.
  • Proven leadership in clinical development programs with excellent communication, leadership, and strategic skills.
  • Availability for site visits across Brazil and Argentina, participation in congresses, sponsor meetings, and global travel.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese; advanced Spanish skills.
