Job Summary

Spire Cheshire Hospital is seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP) with HCPC registration to work in regular and flexible shifts. As a key member of our endoscopy team, you will be responsible for completing clinical tasks, contributing to training, and ensuring the smooth operation of our endoscopy list.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Complete clinical tasks under the supervision of senior staff and contribute to the training of others.
  2. Perform site intravenous access when admitting patients requesting sedation, when competent.
  3. Contribute to the team's tasks to ensure the endoscopy list flows smoothly and efficiently, adhering to CHEC Endoscopy SOP and other policies.
  4. Prepare clinical areas for daily activities.
  5. Participate in CQC and JAG accreditation and continuing competency training requirements through the JETs framework.
  6. Provide compassionate patient care, demonstrating excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  7. Collaborate with the team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
