The OpportunityWe're seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our team in Brazil. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the country.
This role involves leveraging digital information to enhance user experience and recommendations.
You'll play a crucial role in processing, analyzing, and utilizing data to improve user engagement, business insights, and overall platform quality.
- You'll design and develop robust data models and structures for efficient querying and analysis;
- You'll create and maintain data pipelines to transform and process large volumes of data from various sources, adding context and semantics to the data;
- You'll implement automated data quality checks to ensure data integrity across the entire data lifecycle;
We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer who has developed scalable data models from business requirements.
You have a proven track record of working collaboratively to collect, prepare, and analyze complex business data.
You can effectively communicate with engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies (e.g., Airflow, EMR, Kafka) is essential.
You can collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop effective data pipelines.
You are comfortable understanding big data concepts to ingest, process, and make data available for data scientists, business analysts, and product teams.
You are committed to maintaining data consistency across the entire data ecosystem.
