Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable data infrastructure and workflows to support business growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, usability, and security, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Document data architectures, processes, and workflows to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
- Design and implement Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Establish and enforce Data Governance practices, including data cataloging, lineage, and metadata management.
- Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting for data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data availability.
- Apply FinOps principles to optimize data costs and resource usage, ensuring maximum ROI and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions.
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) to effectively collaborate with global teams.
- Proven experience working with modern data architecture and engineering stacks in cloud environments, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Spark, with experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for ETL processes.
- Advanced knowledge of dimensional data modeling and data governance practices.
- Proven track record of implementing Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions, with a strong focus on data quality and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Snowflake certification is a plus.
- Experience working with international clients and teams.
- Familiarity with data quality practices and tools.
- Knowledge of data governance solutions and FinOps principles applied to data management.
