Security Expert Role
The Security Manager will contribute to the security of personnel, assets, and operations in Brazil. This includes supporting the implementation and compliance with security governance requirements, including travel and project security, incident management, crisis management and business continuity, asset protection and physical security, executive and event protection, situation and threat analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the implementation and compliance with security governance requirements.
- Conducting risk assessments and defining mitigation measures.
- Providing consulting and implementation support on security compliance, travel and workplace security, asset protection, incident & crisis management / business continuity.
Requirements:
A relevant academic degree, a professional qualification from a recognized security authority or appropriate security experience through working within law enforcement, regulatory enforcement, military, academic, or equivalent experience is required.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working in corporate security or a similar environment in high or medium-risk countries.
- In-depth knowledge about the political and security situation in Brazil.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Native or bilingual Portuguese is mandatory and excellent command of English.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to manage workload in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time-critical situations.
