Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to support the enhancement of our software modules, analyze and resolve technical issues, document specifications, design features, and operations, and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead software module development and improvement
  • Analyze and troubleshoot software-related issues from internal or external stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for software specifications, design, and operations
  • Mentor and train junior developers in software development best practices
  • Communicate technical information to business leaders and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4-5 years of industry experience, including 2+ years of healthcare data experience
  • Proficiency in SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and triggers
  • Experience with programming languages like Java or Python, and platforms like Appian and Cloudera Hadoop
  • Strong knowledge of databases including Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and Hive
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools
