About the Role:

NTU International A/S is seeking a highly experienced Team Leader to lead the communications efforts for a new EU-funded project in Angola. The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning the European Union as a trusted and reliable partner in Angola, increasing corporate identity awareness and perception among younger audiences, and strengthening partnerships with influencers to enhance the European Union's positive perception in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to achieve the project's objectives.
  • Lead a team of communications experts to oversee and coordinate the organization of communication activities for national and international audiences.
  • Manage online and offline public communication campaigns to promote the European Union's presence in Angola.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and enhance the European Union's positive perception in the country.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in public relations, communication, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in communication and/or marketing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a team leader.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working in public diplomacy and/or communication on aid development cooperation and/or humanitarian aid.
