Job Title: Power Generation Specialist

Job Description:

The Power Generation Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment onboard a drillship. The specialist will work closely with the engineering team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain main power plant onboard
  • Conduct daily detailed planning for all upcoming operations
  • Ensure good and clear communication with all involved parties
  • Comply with Seadrill training, certification, and competence requirements
  • Maintain engine room in tidy and good working order
  • Provide thorough handovers at each daily change of shift
  • Perform other duties as required and/or directed by direct supervisor

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of power generation systems and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of safety and quality performance
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
