Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team at LHR Américas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure compliance with corporate and local regulations.

• Conduct hazard analyses and safe work procedures to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs to minimize workplace incidents and injuries.
• Provide training and guidance to department staff on safety protocols and procedures.
• Review and analyze injury and loss data to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement corrective actions to eliminate or minimize potential hazards.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 8 years of related safety/operational experience, preferably in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
• Deep knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance with applicable industry, governmental, and/or international standards.
