Business Development Representative

The role of a Business Development Representative is to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with clients, and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, identifying potential business opportunities and advancing them through the sales process.
  • Client Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, leveraging industry trends and market insights to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, using this information to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, client interactions, and business outcomes, providing actionable insights to management.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Track Record: A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful client relationships.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the life insurance industry, including products, services, and market trends.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, developing creative solutions to complex business challenges.
