Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Architect to join our team at ADP. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and requirements.
  • Deliver highly automated, intelligent, and predictive solutions for our client offerings.
  • Responsible for building out the core features for integration with ADP's next-gen payroll solution to be used for clients around the globe.
  • Deliver innovative solutions to drive next-generation user experiences, designs, and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level developers, conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive testing and debugging.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and influence the technical direction of the team.
  • Resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with professional software development.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent English and Portuguese communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Prior experience with Node.JS, AWS, and knowledge of databases (e.g., Amazon RDS) and database design principles.
  • Ability to lead/mentor less experienced team members.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with engineers, grasp non-functional requirements, and set expectations.
