This position requires strong communication, organization skills, attention to detail, scheduling, and problem-solving skills. You will review proposed freight rail construction design plans against all available utility infrastructure documentation, perform records research, and support project managers in client and stakeholder visits, site visits, field assessments, and construction observation as needed.
You will work independently and with the project team, coordinating with utility companies and design engineers to meet client needs and objectives. This role also involves preparing client deliverables, utility exhibits, project guides, project reviews, project invoices, expense reports, and project monitoring/field verification.
- Review proposed freight rail construction design plans against all available utility infrastructure documentation.
- Perform records research at City/County offices to determine land ownership and property boundaries.
- Support Project Managers in client and stakeholder visits, site visits, field assessments, and construction observation.
- Coordinate with utility companies and design engineers to meet client needs and objectives.
- Prepare client deliverables, utility exhibits, project guides, project reviews, project invoices, expense reports, and project monitoring/field verification.
This is a full-time position requiring frequent communication between project managers, clients, and utility owners. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, ArcGIS, KMZs, AutoCAD, or MicroStation, and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
