Detailed Responsibilities- Maintain a sterile technique during procedures and assist healthcare professionals with patient care.
- Prepare treatment areas, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Clean and sanitize treatment rooms, including equipment and machinery after each procedure.
- Assist with preparing patients for procedures by positioning, shaving, and prepping.
- Perform additional tasks designated by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- The job requires prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to infectious diseases.
- Day-to-day work involves interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma required
- Surgical Technologist Certification as mandated by state regulation
- All necessary state licensure, and or certification education and training (if any) required.
