Senior Software Engineering Leadership Role

This is a highly advanced engineering management position responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.

The successful candidate will have experience leading successful, collaborative engineering teams and demonstrate the ability to solve challenging distributed systems problems and possess deep knowledge of Linux.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives through effective planning, resource allocation, and team collaboration.
  • Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.
  • Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate and advance modern software development practices.
  • Participate in the engineering process through code and architectural review.

The ideal candidate will be focused on success and the delivery of timely, high-quality software and will have experience working with modern Linux cloud computing technologies, including networking, storage, containers, and K8s.

Requirements:
  • Experience programming in C and/or Go.
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or similar degree.
  • Love developing and growing people and have a strong track record of doing it.
